Quick public service announcement for my fellow Laguna Revo owners…

I bought a Revo 1836 about a year ago. It’s been a good lathe, but I’ve been frustrated by the stock banjo since day one. It doesn’t tighten the tool rest or clamp to the bed reliably and the handles are always getting in each other’s way. Find myself cursing at it just about every time I turn.

Took some advice from guys on the Laguna Owner Facebook group and bought a Oneway 16” banjo assembly. WOW, what an improvement! It’s a night and day difference. If you have a full size Laguna and plan on using it for a while, upgrading to the Oneway banjo is money well spent.
