It's questionable just what Granadillo is, and/or where it comes from. I've found info stating it comes from S. Africa, as well as S. America. It's common to confuse Granadillo with a rosewood. Where this one came from is up to your imagination....and, apparently some suppliers of exotic woods apply some guesswork as to the source, and proper names of some of the woods they offer! Turning block was 18% MC, and after roughing and anchorseal, it took 9 months to stabilize. 5 3/4" x 3", sand to 600gt, Danish oil natural, Beall 3-step buff.
