1962 Australian Coolibah Burl.

Finished August 12, 2022. Original block of wood was 22% MC, and after roughing, it took a total of 15 months to stabilize, ready for finish turning. 7 1/8" x 3 1/4", 13.8 oz, sanded to 600gt, Danish oil natural, Beall 3-step buff. Nice natural red tinge to the color. Purchased by a physician for his personal art collection.

That accent ring has become one of my specialties, lately. Like everything, I have to do it over and over again, until my method of doing it becomes established.
