African Blackwood and Cocobolo Box

This Blackwood box was turned from the pointed end of a clarinet/oboe bell reject. I'm a big fan of combining Blackwood with Cocobolo, especially when the coco has nice dark figuring. The finial /knob is Blackwood as well, and I tried to mimic the shape of the box in the middle aspect.
Finished with NC lacquer. 3"w x 2.5"h (total).
