When I was invited to join the TOTW team, one of the rules I was told to follow was to not select the work of other members of the TOTW team. Well, looking over the gallery, Fire and Ice jumped out to me every time I scrolled past. I’ve long admired the work of Paul Hedman and commend Donna Banfield, not only for her contribution to these pieces, but for reaching out to Paul and bringing some of his work to an audience that may not be familiar with it. I look forward to having the opportunity to bid on Ice in the upcoming AAW Live Benefit Auction and hope it goes for way more than I can afford!

Huge thanks, Kevin, to this selection. Paul Hedman is a talented artist, and not widely known despite his stunning and fabulous works of art. I was so pleased that he agreed to collaborate with me when I reached out to him. And the result is so much better than I imagined.

We will both be in St. Paul at the AAW Symposium in June, so it will be exciting to talk with people about this extraordinary work.
