Thanks Maggie! I had a bear of a time getting a decent finish on this piece - had to sand it back 2x to bare wood - tried different finish products - glad it worked out the 3rd time ---

The hidden vessel

I've been waiting for the right piece of wood to make something similar for months now. With a burl top and finial. I love the cage though. I really love the contrast. Such a beautiful piece of wood and shape.
