Amboyna Ripple

Amboyna Ripple

This is a piece of Amboyna. 8"x5"x2". Finish is walnut oil. I am of two minds whether to make a half round lid for this piece. Might be nice as a ball bobbing in water sort of piece. I'd appreciate any feedback on this.
I like it as is. It might be nice if you could find a way to display it horizontal but elevated, as if it were floating.
