Lou Jacobs

Ash hollow form

Milk paint and carved. Inspired by southwest pottery we saw yesterday at The Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian in D.C.
I like this Lou! How are you doing the carving?
You got inspired and immediately got to it. I admire that reflex.

Thanks Will! I had a birthday this past weekend and treated myself to an Automach carver. I’ll be taking a course at the JC Campbell School in November on carving and embellishing surfaces with Dixie Biggs and thought I should get a leg up on familiarizing myself with some of the tools.
