I saw a nice collection of Vincent's work at the Rocky Mountain Symposium, including 2 in this same series, and they are even more impressive in person. Many times, well known pieces prove to be tiny or otherwise not up to expectation, but Vinnie's pieces were just fabulous. Most impressive.

Been away from turning because of some miserable spinal arthritis, but I'd seen pieces of similar design and, as with yours, loved them. I've got to get back to the lathe and see what you've inspired me to.
Very nice work both in the art and the technique. You've done well.
