Beauty or the Beast?

Beauty or the Beast?

This is a piece of Oak burl a friend gave me. It was in pretty rough shape, but figured I'd try to do something with it. Couldn't really force "elegant" on it, so I went with the "rustic" look in the hope that someone will find some beauty within this beast. About 12" long and brushed with Tung Oil. What do you think?
All comments welcome and thanks for looking, Don L.
I like it Don.
Reminds me when I first started turning I would make candle holders from what ever wood I could find, they were for 2 and 3 inch diameter candles. It seemed like most people liked the rustic look.

Thanks James! Turns out the store owner who sells my stuff bought this for her father for an Anniversary present. She said he likes the Rustic look too.
