Black walnut pedestal bowl.

Neighbor wanted a pedestal bowl in dark wood for her husband. I didn’t have any chunks big enough to fill that order but I did have a half done black walnut root bowl that I wasnt too pleased with because of the milliput I tried to fill the cracks with. Stuff turned an ashy grey instead of black. I glued a block of black walnut to the tenon and finished it with oil and Deft laquer.
