Briar Root Ring Pot

Briar Root (Domestic) Copper Mica powder
Dimensions: 2.24"w x 1.0875"h

This sweet little Ring Pot is reminiscent of an ancient piece of pottery unearthed at an archaeological site.

The natural edge opening looks scalloped as it curls back away from the opening. The natural inclusions help give it the illusion of and ancient piece. I filled a void near the bottom with Copper Mica powder. There are several different colors in this piece that may not be evident in the photos, including a soft pink and medium pink.

Briar Root is a traditional wood used in pipe making. It is not easy to harvest as the shrubs are quite thorny and grow in large thickets.
