Centenarian

The Suspended Vase was created using a 100-year-old Kareewood-(Searsia lancea) Fence Post, which I found on a Farm in the Griquatown area in the Northern Cape, South Africa. The fence post was used at the main entrance gate which was leading to the main SheepKraal on the farm, unfortunately, it collapsed after years of constant strain to keep the gate open or closed, the root cause of the failure was wood-rotting(and ants), and to end the story with; “If this fence post could tell a life story!”
Dimensions: 21,8' inches(H) x 5,9' inches (Diameter)
Suspended vase fitted on a steel support
