Cerulean Floret - Front

Cerulean Floret Basketweave Illusion was turned from a solid piece of Hard Maple, measures approximately 12" diameter x 1.75" tall. I used Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pens and applied a clear coat finish. I made this piece a while back while I was exploring and before finalizing the design for my "Harvest Bowl" series. I felt that the Monotone Blue turned out ok but realized that the pieces I made in Monotone Black had a more striking appearance.
I like the colors and design and the decorated rim is beautifully done! How large is the diameter of the bead that the woodburned rim is done on?

Hi Ethan, Thanks! I used the 3/16" beading tool to shape the inside and outside edges of the rim and blend the top surface to the edges so it makes a nice transition and has a shape that I think will look good with the herringbone pattern.
