Cherry Trifecta Lidded Box

Cherry Trifecta Lidded Box

This box has a three ring inlay but now the black accents go all the way around the maple. It is a slight design change from my Tulipwood box. Box is Cherry and the inlay is African Blackwood and Maple burl. Size is 3" tall and 2.25" in diameter. Finish with gloss lacquer.
Looks great! How did you cut those plugs Gabriel?
I sandwiched all three discs in-between the drive and live center and turned them from square to round all at once. Doing it that way makes sure all of them are the same size. Then I use a parting tool to cut the recess in the lid and fit the disc in.
