Christmas Ornament

Playing with color once again.! This is my first Christmas Ornament, maybe it's a bit on the " dark side " but has a real appeal when held.
8 1/2"L x 2 11/16"w Maple First dyed black, sanded back then a deep dark red and several coats of W.O.P. Icicle and top portion are finished with a black lacquer.
C & C welcome
Beautiful ornament, nicely colored globe, and very delicate finial/icicle. I'll bet you cringe when someone wants to hold it...very delicate.

Thanks Hal,
Not too much in the worry department here.
If it's dropped and broken there's always more scraps available to make more :) after all it's just "stuff" right

Wouldn't have thought of using that color for the ball, but it makes me think of black cherries. Other wise beautiful.
