Les Moore

This is a continuation of my studies on finials and toppers. Some have suggested in the past that sometimes less is really more. This piece takes that thought to the extreme. The finial has been reduced to a mere teardrop splashing into the vessel.

Les Moore is turned from end grain, fiddle back maple. It is finished with aniline dyes and wipe on poly. It measures approximately 4.5 inches tall by 3.5 inches wide.
