Moon Unfolding

This is 12"T x 3"Square. Holly. It was inspired by the exhibit at Arrowmont called Light of the Moon. It is turned on multiple axes.
From the master of multiple axes... Even though it is turned on multiple axes it has the visual effect of only one, being so symmetrical. Really like this.
 
Thank you both for your comments. This is the first of these...I'm playing with many other ideas using this basic idea, like variations on a theme. The next one was with twisted axes. I'll post more when I like them!!
