Cheery Cherry Vases!

Cheery Cherry Vases!

Two Vases both made from Cherry about 8 inches high one natural finish with lacquer the other an attempt to create a porcelain effect using paint and lacquer C&C welcomed!
Richard,

Nice work. I like the effect of not having a top "flat". I have seen similar effects of the non-round appearance achieved thru not leaving the base flat.

The porcelain effect works here. Thanks for posting the photo of both here together. Good for perspective.

When I first saw the thumbnail I wondered what you'd been smoking, your symmetry being unsymmetrical, sort of. Really like what you've done. I think you need a third, your black effect, to make a trio.

Your work continues to be inspiration and example. Well done!
