Hickory Bowl #2

A photograph does not do justice to the color in this piece, and the inclusions add even more interest. 8"W x 3"H

Bill the black circle is a part of the inclusion running down the side and into the bottom of the bowl. The tree grew around the small branch at this location and this may have been the spot where the branch started to grow when this was a young tree. I say this because it did not show through on the bottom outside of the bowl, just the inside.

Gerald, the color is all natural, no photoshop or other treatments. With a few exceptions I finish all of my work with walnut oil and a good coat of wax. Thank you for you comments.
