Newest Throw-Top

Turned from a 3' x 3" x 4" Spectraply block. Finished piece measures about 3" x 4.5", weighs 126 grams (4.4oz), hollowed out for cord storage and to lower center of gravity, customized poker chip used as button, tip is turned from 1/2" Delrin rod, white dots are guitar fretboard acrylic, and the 24 dot holes were precisely placed using a Oneway Drill Wizard.
Thanks...I get a lot of inspiration from the styles and materials used in knife, guitar and jewelry making. Always looking for new things to use for woodturning embellishments. Here's an example from the jewelry trade: this abstract USA flag design is framed with "punchinella"...the leftover waste from sequin manufacturing.
