These are the two commission pieces I was asked to do from box elder "manitoba maple"
This pic was just a quickie with my cell phone to put into an email notifying the lady they are completed. The color is pretty vivid.
The spike nails and the rock were inside the wood. I ruined a newly installed bandsaw blade on that rock! Oh well.....Murphy at work! 12" diameter bowl and 9.5" tall vase.
