Just Having Fun

This was just a bit of fun when making a jam chuck. Tiny Black Cherry bowl made with a 3/4" skew. Right at 3/32" diameter. Finished with boiled linseed oil. Now...back to work!

Funny story: After I measured the bowl, I accidentally dropped the ruler onto the bowl. When I lifted it back up, the bowl was in three pieces lol.

I don't know.. The skew part still scares me! lol
Skew is definitely not my forte either. But, I’m better with it than I was six months ago! And six months from now I’ll be even better. Just takes practice. Ultimately it’s like any other tool—you first recognize how catches happen (with plenty of practical experience lol), and then the skill refinement comes. You’ve got this!
