"Poseidon's Platter"

Hello once again everyone I have been playing with some photography lately. I got a new camera and other photography toys. Here's one of my older but favorite pieces I have taken some new photos of to showcase my work for galleries.
"Poseidon's Platter"
This piece finished at 14 1/2" D X 4" tall. The center is White Oak the hand carved Scalloped edge is segmented Walnut, the hand carved Dolphins are also Walnut. The base was turned and carved to look like three waves, plus three hand carved Sea Horses were added.
Excellent piece, Bruce, .... understandable why this is one of your favorites.
Re: photo - your detailed carving on the sea horses are lost in the shadows. Maybe change the position of your light source and/or use a bounce card (not sure if that is the correct term), or add a second light source. Just my 2¢. 🙂
