Daisy Chain

This is my SWT chapter holiday swap which was sent to Alan Levin. I was inspired by a Mayuko video to try the mosaic, although I did it a little differently. My grain is aligned throughout, whereas he used end grain on the mosaic pieces. The mosaic pieces are cherry, cut with an axe! The feature flowers pieces were cut on a CNC using dyed, stabilized fir and regular holly. The green and black filler are ABS plastic which was applied with a heated pen over a layer of ABS juice to help with adhesion. The black rim is India ink. It is about 8 or 9" tall. All C&C welcome!
