Did you dry it first?
Yes, they shrink and warp a good amount. This was from one of those really big avocados, not the typical hass. I want to try turning a "green" one and seeing what happens. Might get moldy or turn black though. Keeping the pit whole seems to help keep them more spherical. If you split them they seem to warp more, but dry faster. Maybe 2-4 months
