Green turned avocado pit bowls

A pair of bowls turned from fresh avocado pits. About 3/4-7/8" wide and 3/8" tall (give or take 1/16).
They very quickly oxidized to reddish brown in less than a minute. Outside was turned with a 3/8" spindle gouge, inside with a 1/4" bowl gouge. I wouldn't recommend a scraper. Right after turning they had the feel of a slice of provolone cheese, fairly flexible and almost rubbery. They warped a good amount and were nearly dry the next day except for the bottom. Fully dry in about a week. Sanded very easily and finished with BLO.
