Buffalo Bowl

Bowl from an Elm burl cap, with natural burl surface and three feet from Brazilian ebony.

About 3-3.4″ high, 8″ wide, 9″ long. The bowl is 4-1/4″ diameter and 1-1/2″ deep.

This could be a “charcuterie bowl” (crackers in the bowl, cheeses on the platter)? Or maybe just a display piece.

I like the rounded edge around the bowl rim. Many burl caps have a flat edge (saw cut) that I find distracting and hard to deal with (artistically). I assume that may have been the case here, if so ... I like the way you dealt with that problem. Nice one, Dave!
