Yes, maybe they could be eyes! When I was doodling and bringing this to life, those areas registered in my brain as mouths, but I wasn’t specifically aiming for the form to be unequivocally one thing or another… just trying to make something that tickled me. Sometimes I have difficulty with naming pieces because a title might take away the viewers’ ability to interpret things for themselves.
