Double Dizzy Bowl Vase

This is the largest Dizzy Bowl project that I have completed to date. The vase is 24" tall by 14" in diameter. It contains 230 disc layers, each 0.100" thick and rotated 2 degrees between each disc layer. Eash disc layer contains 149 wood strips consisting of 15 different wood species. In total more than 60,000 pieces of wood are exposed on the outside of this vase. This project took 12 weeks or about 400 hours to complete. There is a video on YouTube which describes how it was made.
