Drifter
Ash, burned and wire brushed, with acrylic paints, 5 1/2” x 5” x 6 1/2”.

My original concept was a small winged bowl with the rim sloping down and transitioning into feet. Sitting flat on the table, the piece looked like it needed a bit more, so I decided to stand it at an angle on a single foot— and it instantly came to life.
I love your presentation choice; that inner area looks like it was fun to wire brush!! Well done Heather!
