Turned Chinese Elm Burl. Just a simple form for a local show, the last of what was a fantastic burl tree, wish I had a lot more of it. The surfaced has been brushed to scrub out the softer wood.
A real beauty John! A friend has an Elm that the trunk is about 4 foot in diameter. It has not leaved out this year - and we will be taking it down this winter.....
