Thanks guys! The open one has just returned to the shop, and I am pushing the process even further.

e- first I faceted it on the belt sander then used a round diamond bit in the Dremel. Finally visited your site... WOW! Fantastic works

hey thanks ...
i have used this texturing method with a nail in my recipricating carver and a burr in the dremel -- wow, hard on hand and wrist ... then i started using the scaler -- much faster. have you tried this yet?

e

It sure is hard, especially with tendinitis in both hands. I do 15 min shifts or so and take quick breaks. I tried a scaler, it was nice, but I do not have air tools. I like the control of using one bit and being able to attack small areas. I think I enjoy the tiny details that most people will glance over. Wish it all went much faster though!
