Ghost Maple

Bleached, with ebonized rim. No finish - just buffed and waxed. 11 x 7.75. Wood was a gift from David Marks. Yet another homage to the great Bill Luce, whose injury several years ago and recent passing made me very sad, indeed.
Less is frequently more.
Steven - great shape(!) and definitely makes an impact with the bleaching, plus ebonized rim. Also noticed the dimensions as this is much bigger than I expected (by the looking at the photo). Great job.

Questions.......what's the bottom look like? Appears to have no foot, but perhaps a small flat spot or slight recess underneath?
Also- any possibility you can share your bleaching concoction? Thanks in advance, John D.

Sweet!, I agree you nailed it. and less is more. When ones work is reduced to minimal it is much harder to hit the bulls eye, you did.
