Great Horned Owl Box

Lidded box 8”x6”, Spalted and figured maple. Color-dyed lid, acorn turned from African Blackwood, feather carved from tupelo and painted in acrylics.
Well done Christine - from the concept for the series with it's anchors in the acorn and really well done feathers, to the various forms and woods for the boxes and lids, you've crafted a really pleasing narrative.
