Interrupted Bowl Top

Must be art, the soup leaked!
Art it IS!
What are the dimensions, what kind of wood, and is it done drying?

9.5 by 4.5" on average for the dimensions. It's A. rubrum, "red" or swamp maple, and with ten good days at less than a quarter inch, it's acting dry in every way.

Only wish I had been able to get a more secular work while still getting the big "wing," which was the reason I set up the way I did. Instead, I got holy.
