Last Call

This is the last in a small series of weave segmentation using cherry, walnut, and yellowheart for the feature ring. Main species of cherry with pau ferro and maple rim. Quite a bit of planning goes into the creation of these vessels and when the geometry is off you can really tell. I think I got this one as close to perfect as I could get. This bowl complements the one posted previously with the feature ring now "leaning to the left" 7.75" D 6"H
I’m going to miss this series Paul….I am excited to see what comes next! I’m a big fan of your tying the rim wood to the feature ring wood on this one….it brings everything together to my eye!
