Lidded boxes

Here are my first four lidded boxes. They were a;ll a success in that there is a bottom, a lid, and the interior has been hollowed out. They were all turned from green wood and "finished" with Medium Walnut Danish Oil. Each box was turned from a tree I picked up from folks around town who posted "free wood" on OfferUp and Facebook. I left a little turned mushroom for each of them.
The two on the ends I believe are oak and I honestly couldn't tell you what the others are, I just don't have the experience to tell trees apart yet. But being in North Carolina and having done a smidgen of research I''m pretty sure I fall in the Oak, Pine, Maple category mostly.

Thanks for looking!
