Maple Leaf Bowls

Started buy turning a few shallow ogee shaped bowls and then using my powercrafter piercing tool to cut out the leafs. All are about 5" dia. and died with akaline dyes. Clockwise from top left, Rocky Mountain Maple, Red Maple, Sugar Maple and Vine Maple. All turned from box elder. Nothing original here but it was a step out for me to take a perfectly good bowl and cut it apart.
very nice
