Masur Birch Hollow Vessel

This is a new series of "mini" hollow vessels. This pear shaped vessel is two inches in diameter and hollowed on the inside. Finished with wax. More will follow....
Nice one Gabriel! I’ve been pondering the idea of making some little ones for a while. Great way to utilize little off cuts. Which hollowing tools did you use?

Nice little form, Gabriel. I love Masur Birch but haven't turned any in about 20 years. I always found it difficult to find a source for that stuff.

I really love working with this wood. It turns so well. It is difficult though to find a piece. I had two 2x2x12 blanks I purchased last year and those have yielded 5 projects!
