Masur Birch Round-Edge Lidded Box

Masur Birch Round-Edge Lidded Box

Back to the cylinder style box, although this one has a few small details added. Turned from Masur Birch--(Betula pendula var. Carelica)--this box has rounded corners on the top and bottom, and a lifted bottom, so the box is not sitting directly on a surface, but elevated to accentuate the round-over. Top is undercut slightly and domed. Hollowed and finished with wax and gloss lacquer, then buffed. Size is approx. 2.5 inches tall and 2 inches in diameter. I have one more piece of Masur Birch left and I can't find anywhere to buy more, so enjoy the amazing figure while it lasts!
