Mesquite HF

A couple of months ago my friend Bob Speier made a trip to Texas and he was kind enough to bring me back some mesquite. This is the first piece I have turned from it. It measures 5" dia. x 8-1/2" tall with the walls at 3/16". Finished with antique oil and buffed. Did I mention that mesquite is my favorite wood. It always has so much going on.
very nice, mesquite is one of my favorites also
