Mesquite Urn
David Bartell

Mesquite Urn

11 inches tall, 11 inches wide. A fairly large urn from a piece of Mesquite that seemed as if if would not have issues - but, oh no, ring shake and funny noises growing during hollowing led to a thicker bottom than desired. The wood is often in charge and that is OK. The lid was turned one piece and has a turquoise stone on top. Finished with waterlox.
