Mixed media spin top

Blue plastic, birch, black walnut, padauk, and acrylic paints. Five separate pieces adjoined together via CA glue and epoxy. 9”d x 7”h.
I really like how the blue glows! Your detail at the rim is way better than round, nice add Michael!
 
Thanks @Russ Braun, I like glow of the blue too! Makes it way more interesting than otherwise. Full disclosure, the plastic was already shaped like that. I wish I could take credit for shaping the rim, BUT that goes to Step2. (I just realized-read @Glenn McCullough comment too). Granted, I DID choose the funnel for its unique shape, but my additions were just the wooden exterior/interior spin top pieces, and the painting. I hope my son doesn’t mind that I “borrowed” part of his play set. It’s getting too cold for a water toy anyway, haha.
