Natural Edge Maple Chip & Dip Bowl

I know convention says one should typically balance out the high and low points of a natural edge bowl to make the form more "pleasing", however I tend to lean more towards accentuating the differences sometimes. The piece is 17" in diameter and because it was off balance it made turning a little more difficult and I had to keep a lower speed on the lathe. The finish is tung oil which is my goto for most of my bowls.
