Off center Maple Goblet
I turned this because the president of our club asked me when I was gonna a make a bigger goblet. I had been making 1.5" x 5", but this one is about 2.25x. I hadnt wanted to make a bigger goblet becuase the stems I was making were really skinny, and the unsupported weight of the cup may break the stem during spinning. So this was made with an extremely thin cup, and a super thick stem! I did want to make a sphere in the middle. I turned the sphere itself on 2 axises. And you can see it's not perfectly spherical.
