Cherry Burl Hollow Form. This piece is around 12". It was hollowed thru the bark opening. Total thickness is around 3/32" It was turned start to finish green, had been air drying for 1 year.

And here some of us think turning on the lathe as relaxing. But I completely understand the feeling. Nice work.
 
Thanks, turning at the lathe is relaxing, even if it ends up in more pieces than you started with. A day at the lathe beats any day at work. Know what I mean!!!!!!
