"Philodendron"

Hello everyone here's my latest piece Philodendron
This Segmented piece was made from Teak, it was first turned on the lathe and finished at 7"x 9" tall. After turning the hand carving began and then pyrography for shading the coloring was done with Alcohol Inks and the final finish is satin lacquer.
Although they are a pest because of how fast they grow and how much they advance if you don't stay on top of it, I love my Monstera plants. You did an amazing carving job here. Well done.

Thank you Emiliano... you are the second person to call the leaves Monstera, I had never heard of this had to look it up, they are the same plant.
