"Portable' Vase

Made for my dearly beloved. When I pick her up at the airport I sometimes bring a flower and have to use one of those water bulb things. This is my solution. Bird's Eye Maple and Blackwood. Is it me, or now that I've made it, does it remind anyone else of a mausoleum flower holder? :-(
