Scalloped Bowl with Wings

This was the first scalloped edge bowl I made to see if I could cut a blank before I turned it so that when it was turned it would produce a scalloped edging. It worked. The wood is purpleheart. Other than buffing with the Beale Buffing system, this came off the lathe exactly as seen here (no carving or cutting after it was turned).
